Cala Murada beach is safe for children and during the summer months there is a lifeguard looking out all of the time. The beach bar is great for snacks and cold beers or sangria. There is a coastal path leading over to the next bay which is called Domingos, again a very pretty safe beach. The costal path can be followed for quite a distance and makes a lovely early morning walk. The surrounding area is very green which makes it perfect for cycling or walking holidays.
Cala Murada has many important services available all year round, including a local police station, post office and doctor's surgery. The development also has a bus stop and 24-hour taxi service nearby, from where you can reach many important points around Cala Murada. Additionally, the various commercial premises offer a wide range of services and products: here you will find restaurants, supermarkets, banks, rent-a-cars, chemists. By the Residencial Pinar de Murada development, there is also a five-a-side football pitch and a number of petanque courts.
Cala Murada is a place that is favoured by locals who prefer to get away from the crowds that are found in busier resorts. The more affluent have built luxury summer homes, standing in their own grounds, where they can enjoy total relaxation. Originally a fishing village, there are now many newly built apartments and villas. Cala Murada has been built above the cliffs giving stunning views for the occupants spoiling the natural landscape viewed from the beach.
In the Cala Murada, there exist some tennis courts where everybody can play. Beyond that a mini golf course, a Petanca plant (Boul) as well as a small field for any kind of sports is available.
