Cala Ratjada is a lively, well-established resort loacated in North part of Mallorca island. The resort has plenty to offer

In this part of Mallorca you will find beautiful beaches such as Cala Agulla, Son Moll, Cala Mesquida, Cala Gap, etc. all reachable by foot. The best restaurants can be found around the harbour, where you'll not only have great food but also a great view. Cala Ratjada is still a working fishing port and so the best option on the menu is the seafood: you know it'll always be fresh and cooked just how they've been doing for hundreds of years. The main streets here are wall-to-wall tourist shops so it's a dream come true for the souvenir hunters who won't be short of gifts for friends back home. There is a regular market at Placa del Pins and at Capodepera for those who are looking for more than the trinkets available in Cala Ratjada. The resort has an array of supermarkets and shops for your everyday needs. You won't have to go far for an interesting day trip. Capdepera possesses the largest castle on the island and is only 5km away. Just a little further on you'll come across Arta, another historic town. Arta also has caves that can be explored. For walking enthusiasts the hills that form Cala Ratjada's backdrop make for great hiking territory.

Cala Ratjada area is well known to golfers, as it benefits from 4 excellent golf courses, in addition to this the area is also popular with cyclists and walkers who enjoy the excellent views and the peace and tranquillity this truly unspoilt area of Mallorca has to offer. Cala Ratjada is a resort that caters to everyone's needs, with entertainment and activities for people of all ages both day and night. There are many beach activities for you to take part in, including volleyball and water sports. These include jet-skiing, rides on a banana boat and windsurfing. If you prefer land activities, then you can choose from horse-riding, tennis, golf or even hiking. There is also plenty of sight-seeing for you to do such as visiting the medieval castle at Capdepera or a trip up the lighthouse to see some amazing views of the island.
