Paguera has a good selection of shops, bars, discos, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and wallets - and there a number of banks and cash points for when you need to top up your euros.
There is a regular bus service to Palma, Marineland, Aquapark, Andraitx market and other many other destinations. Daily excursions to places of interest throughout Mallorca take place throughout the year. We thoroughly recommend a visit to the "Pirates" show - a great evening's fun and entertainment for the whole family.
Paguera boasts three sandy beaches with wide promenades backed by cafes and restaurants. The town runs parallel to the beaches with the one-way Bulevar of approximately a mile filled with shops, cafes and restaurants. Some of the bars have live music/dancing in the evenings and there is a regular programme of entertainment in the local Hotels, which are open to non residents. There are facilities for water sports, golf etc all nearby and you can be as energetic or lethargic as you wish. Boat trips and coach trips run from Paguera in the season.
Playa Palmira, Playa Tora and Playa La Romana are Paguera's three beaches. They're all blessed with fine, golden sand and the warm Mediterranean gently laps the shores, making great bathing for youngsters. If just thinking about sunbathing makes you fidget you'll be pleased to learn that there are many watersports available. Explore the town a little and you'll also find a small network of coastal hiking routes. Paguera offers a number of different restaurants with a variety of fare. Many cater for the German palette, though some offer local dishes and excellent seafood. There are also numerous various sidewalk cafes and bistros along the promenade.
Paguera is popular with all nationalities, especially the German tourists, but the number of bars and restaurants aiming at British clientel is on the increase as more tourists from the UK discover the area. It is close to the Port d'Andratx which is a popular area for visting film stars and celebrities. There are numerous bars and clubs and although it may not be as noisy as other resorts, Paguera is not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet holiday.
