Porto Cristo is a small town, situated on a hill, looking out on a small fishersharbour. You can relax in one of the many cafes along the boulevard or on one of the sandy beaches. Porto Cristo is well known of the Caves of Drach, which will lead you to the largest underground lake of the world. Porto Cristo now has a fantastic marina housing some of the largest private yachts cruising the mediterranean. There is a large choice of bars and restaurants overlooking both the marina and Porto Cristo beach. Away from the beach front, Porto Cristo has developed into a lovely town, with plenty of shops supporting tourists, many of which sell traditional Mallorcan products, ideal for an afternoon stroll

The town of Porto Cristo has a beautiful marina and a great beach, water sports and diving are also popular here. A wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars can be found with something to suit all tastes. A local market featuring a wide range of local produce and goods can be found near the beach every Sunday morning. Running along the length of Porto Cristo marina is a strip of bars and restaurants with a very Spanish atmosphere. Stylish restaurants can be found here along the front (seafood a speciality.) Festivals of all kinds are held here throughout the summer months.

The beach at Porto Cristo has golden sand and is sheltered by a rock wall at its northern end. It's a popular spot
for the local children who turn it into a football pitch once school is over. Behind the beach is a shady promenade with pavement cafes and restaurants. Water sports and diving are also popular here. Cycling paths take you north and south from Porto Cristo. Overlooking the beach on the other side of the road is a stretch of small shops, bars & restaurants

Porto Cristo is home to the celebrated Caves of Drach (10-15 minute walk), a series of spectacular caverns leading to Europe's largest underground lake. Descend 29 metres into the caves and if you like take a boat ride on the lake. The caves are amazing and worth a visit. Take a boat trip excursion from the marina in a glass bottomed boat and view the coastline and the Mediterranean both above & below! Glass Bottom boats excursions also available from the harbour.
Fishing enthusiasts can cast their rods around the marina. The beautiful sandy beach of Cala Anguila 7km..

Porto Cristo is a bus ride away from the larger resorts of Sa Coma, Cala Millor and Cala Bona.
There is a little mini train that you can take to the near by resort of Cala Mandia which has a lovely beach, if you enjoy walking then there is a walk way along the main road to Cala Mandia. Manacor is a bus ride away where you can catch the train to Palma for a day out and also visit other parts of Mallorca island. Be prepared for some walking here as the resort is hilly and there are a number of steps throughout.
